towing the clio

Hi all, few questions about towing the clio and the law!

Basically I can use a friends trailer for some beers wenever I want but I don't have my license for a trailer! Few more beers dished out tho and my uncle is going to tow it for me!

So he needs to no the weight of my car, it was a full fat 182 cup so wat would the weight be for that to start guessing the actual weight! It fully stripped out apart from dash and front door cards.

Also, wat is the actual law regarding towing, is it all down to the vehicles plated weight or is it 85percent of the vehicles weight?

The glorious goverment have made it so bloody confusing for newbies!!!

what vehicle is he towing it with? and did he pass his test after 1997?

Yea he passed well before 1997!!

It will be a transit, either a 10 plate swb or a 58 plate high roof swb

not too sure about the exact weights but he'll be fine, look on the vosa website all the weights are on there.
