tracking question

ive just been to national to get my car tracked. he asked why so i said cause ive fitted new springs. then he goes on saying we cant do it cause when you lower it it changes all the camber settings ect ect so if we do it. the tyres wont last. so i need to get the original settings from renault. is that true or bullshit
