USB ports

Right, on the front of my computer, there are 2 usb ports, both have the label 'USB 2.0' at the front of it.

However, when i plug in a USB into the USB port, it says on the screen 'file transfer could be performed faster with 2.0'

Does anyone know how i can upgrade it to the 2.0 as in is there a choice in choosing it to be 1.0 rather than the capable 2.0? and visa versa.

This would be great help, as i am planning on transfering 60gb of files to my external hard drive.

You need to install the drivers probably.

Where do i find the properties to the USB ports?

I think it is on "Device Manager"

Or better still go onto your manafactures website and just "update" the USB drivers from there.
