very poor radio reception on standard headunit

basically, everything apart from radio1 goes 'sssssccccc sssssccccc pppsss pps ssssssscccccccchhhhhhhhh'

standard renault headunit, not mucked about with. anyone elese suffer from this?! do u recon headunit/ariel/or connection?:dead:

doesnt really bother me too be honest usually listening to a cd, i did buy one of those little arials though and the reception went completley so had too take it back too halfords
