It has a fully built F7R engine by Cupissol Moteurs in france (apparently they build the engines for the race teams?)

Hi, welcome and wow. What bhp and torque is it putting out?

Not sure on the exact figures, but ive had an email back from the engine company and the history of this engine is fairly special apparently. The engine started off life in spain with a team called RCA who had the driver MEMBRADO as their no1. He used to pilot the megane maxi. Typical power was approx 270BHP but this would be using race fuel and a rev limit set at approx 8800rpm.
The rev limit is currently set at approx 7k and 98ron fuel being used, so i would expect the figures to be a fair bit less than above.

Ive only owned it a few days,(xmas pressie to myself) so i will need to get it checked over by one of the renault engine specialists on here maybe.

I will keep you posted.

Not so keen on the looks. But should be an epic bit of kit in the right hands

Im not over keen on the looks either, but its growing on me. I may invest in the wide arch maxi kit at some stage in the future.

That video of Jean Ragnotti is awesome....a very talented man.

NICE!

Dislike the fogs though although they have more purpose than other cars with fogs I suppose lol/.

Love it! Maxi kit will set you back about £1200, would finish it off nicely tho :) and you'd have to modify the front wings to keep the phase 2 lights that is on there now. If you go on renaultonline.net and look for brucemaximegane's blog youl see what's involved in getting it fitted :) You already have the spoiler by the looks of things so that's saved you a few bob :p

Engine looks rather special too! Williams head on it by the looks of things

  DON'T SEND ME PM'S!!

How much did it cost you if you don't mind me asking?

I am impressed, this car very much appeals to my taste. Much rather have it over a track **** Clio.

I got it for much cheapness....as far as im concerned anyway. Its had loads of money spent on it over the last couple of years and it has done very little work since.
The guy who owned it lives in jersey and also rallies an S9 subaru (worth about 100k), he is also building a 306 maxi replica....
