Well known issue - lowering

Guys. excuse me for asking slightly off topic, but I dont know where else...

Since my Clio is new, I have my old R5 to work around and do "tuning"...

Since I got a picture-by-picture on how to lower torsion bar, Im asking this, since R5 and Clio are pretty much the same..more less.

So, I have few combinations, and you advice me on the best and of cource, budget friendly. I want to lower it 40 to 60 mm.

New standard shocks + Eibach (or any other quality) springs (-40mm)
Koni shocks + Eibach (-40mm) - i think that it would be too expensive.

What are the prices in UK on shocks and springs?

Id go for uprated shocks.. I want some uprated ones for mine - ride on standard shocks isnt as great as it could be.

You might be quite satisfied just with new original spec shocks - especially as the 5 will have good shocks on there anyway (assuming its a GT Turbo).

BenRs 16v just has lowering springs and a torsion bar adjustment with new shocks. He says its fine. Could be worthwhile before you go for expensive aftermarket shocks, unless you want some adjustables.
