Wet flatting??

  BG 182
On the Diamond spraying guide it states:

He doesn't mention wet flatting down his primer which, if chipped or even if it doesn't chip sometimes, will make the paint flake off as it has nothing to key to.
Could someone give me a little more info into what 'wet flatting' is? cheers

  Never above 25mpg
Hai, wrong section.

TBH spraying a diamond isn't a massive deal, only really need to wetflat a paint layer before lacquer.

It's sanding it down with a high grit paper and water to make it flat rather than rough basically.

  Dodgy one
The diamonds they require a lot of Love, I DA'd my mates with 320 in order to break through the chrome and get something good to key too, Then wet primed and painted straight ontop
