what to do next

Hey guys, i own a 1.2 16v 03 mark 3 phase 2 clio, it is in odysey blue and i have done a few modifications, but i am stumped as to what to do next to it, i dont want to spend silly money i just want it to look good, do you think it looks nice enough as it is and i should leave it and carry on saving for my new car ( hopefully a ff 172) or should i spend a bit of money on her, what would you do.... anyway here are the pictures

i also got in on the xenon white leds group buy

and then i bought a rs grill and a few stickers, i have the yozzasport on the bonnet as you can see and i have the www.cliosport.net sticker from russ and the gaz performance sticker on the back window, i have also changed the silvervisions to the philips silvervisons as i perfer them to the osram ones, they dont have that blue tinge to them, i did buy a decat and an induction kit off of a couple of members on here but the decat didnt fit so still sitting in my garage, one of the connections was wrong so it ended up blowing like a b**ch and i took the ik off because it was an open filter and started to suffer from heatsoak as the whether got hotter, i also have a sub and amp in boot, uprated alpine headunit, and jvc 6x9's (which are now unplugged because i dont like them, and also if anyone has a spare phase 2 parcel shelf they want rid off pm me cheers) and uprated speakers throughout although they are not components they do the job well,

i have also added a smaller ariel which is the same as the original in looks but half the size, the last mod is the philips wipers which i think are awesome they look amazing and wipe the windows really well.

one thing as well is my car is on 31000 miles but is on an 03 plate so does that mean it is due a cambelt change? cheers guys hope it is in the right section, mods feel free to change it if it is in the wrong section.

Things I would suggest would be lowering springs or colour coding.

However as your car is coming upto 5 years it should have a cambelt change.

oo damn it i was hoping you wernt going to say that, more money then lol they are like 350 quid aint they?, i am goin to get it colour coded soon as my dad used to work on cars for a living and is very good at spraying them but he aint got time at the minute but will be colour coding it

I got my cambelt done at a main dealer for £270, if you've got a renault specilist down by you, I'd give them a phone, could prob do it cheaper.

try your local garages i had mine done for a lot cheaper than that.


IMO you should save like you want to, but if it were me, id:

Colour Code
Lower it 60mm
Upgrade your speakers and ICE

Tweak the sound in your car, uprate all the speakers and components to get a sharper louder sound, great for summer =]

Then i would probably go with getting the car lower and colour coding, pretty much what others have already said but would look schweet!

i have bought all of the bits to give it a proper detailed clean but i havent got round to it yet lol although atm it is cleaner than what it was in those pictures

yer well there is that renault specialist in portsmouth isnt there? not sure what it is called? would they be cheaper than renault, ive heard that if you dont go to renault you dont know if the job is done properly and also if the car is away for a day or so i will need another car to get around in due to work and that

f**k it mate, open an isa at barklays and get saving. £100 a month or more if you can afford it, sooner you can loose the 1.2 the better. ive f**king had it lol this month i start saving for a 182.

Although im guna be at college for another 4 years so ill end being the proud owner of a new ass hole with a 182.

right that settles it, i recon keep it as it is, get the cambelt changed at rentech and sell at the end of the year for hopefully a 172 ff, if i were to put this back to standard and had the paint in mint condition how much do you lot think i would get for it? baring in mine it is a 03 dynamique with 31000 miles on the clock and lets say for now that it has its cambelt done
