could anyone tell me what the cylinder shape thing is on this, as far as i can make out it looks like its behind the steering wheel, would my car have this on, what is it and whats it do lol

this was on ebay and it says its for the clio 172, do the clios have this system?

they dont have an electric powersteering system no. but i could be wrong and it may not be a power steering motor, although it looks like it

it is definitely an electric power steering system, if you Google images for Renault electric power steering you will see one on there for a Clio Expression. Here it is.Hope this helps

if you have a look at this link, this is the problem im having with my steering and was wondering if it could be this motor thats causing it (if my car has the motor) its really confusing me now.

sports don't have the motor, that's for 1.2/1.4 etc
