wheel bearings

my rear left wheel has started making a strange noise and my cousin who is a mechanic has said it is a wheel bearing :S can someone give me an idea on how much i will be looking at to repair it i havent got a clue when it comes to the mechanical side of things give me a porter cable anyday lol cheers guys

Bearing from eurocarparts is about £16 a side plus £5/10 for some monkey to press them in for you.
