whining noise HELP!!!

hey guys im getting a strange whining noise from my 2001 172 the noise is coming from the engine area that only happens when in gear and take my foot off the gas any1 have any idea what this could be.

Pretty new to the clio scene, but could be input shaft bearing in gearbox?? I had a couple of Peugeots with the exact same problem, i dont no what the score is with renaults but you can get it changed in most cars, or leave it and get a new gearbox when it goes lol???

if it sounds like uve got a supercharger bolted to it its either as above or the diff bearings are fooked ,ive just had this on my 172 and not a cheap fix m8,new gearbox time ,and u might aswell do a clutch while ur there
