Will disconnecting battery require 182 Immobiliser reset?

  Renault Clio 182 mk3
Hi Folks!

The cold weather and lack of use has zapped the battery in my 2004 182. I have disconnected and recharged the battery and plan to re-connect it tonight as I need to use the car tomorrow morning, will the immobiliser need resetting before it will start? If so does anyone know how to do this please?

Thanks in Advance,

Pedro

Hi! No your immobiliser won't need resetting. Your radio code will need inputting again, and your time re-setting on your clock, but other than that you're good to go. Will be worth getting your battery tested, as cold weather really screws them up.

Thanks! Would rather know in advance than have to flap about tonight when the engine wont start! Cheers for your help:)
