I own a Renault Clio initiale diesel on an 06 plate.
I am having problems with the windscreen wipers as when i start the vehicle the wipers come on then stop in the up position (this is without me turning them on). I then turn them on to sort it out but at first there is no response, they just stay up. After a while they start again but usually stop half way up when turned off. This goes on for a short while and then they seem to be OK for the rest of the journey. This happens nearly every time i use the vehicle. I have been told there is a problem with the ECU and it could be reset. Does anyone know if that is true or is there another problem?
