wot gauge wires do i need

am currently attempting to wire two amps one is 250 watt and the other 700 watt. i know i need a fused distribution block but what size wire shud i run form the battery to this and what size wires shud run from the block to each of the amps. any help greatly appreciated.

what size fuses do the amps have?

Ive got a couple of amps..both JL audio ones. Theyre running off 4 guage with a 60amp fuse up front. havent blown it yet.

i was running an Audison LRx1.400 amp and a Genesis Profile 2 Amp from 4awg cabling with both 60amp fuse in line and on a distribution block, no problems watsoever

best to go for the biggest cabling you can
