Xbox help, Corrupted Profile

Last week Forza started acting up. When starting the game up, I would do one race and then it would freeze when loading up the second. The it started saying it cannot load the profile as has been corrupted! Then on FIFA I could load a saved game, play a match and then it will freeze when loading the second match.

I was going to delete my profile as it says it is corrupted when on the dashboard and wipe the hard drive but it just comes up saying there is a problem and won't let me do either.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this? Heard of any similar problems?

Probably best to google or ask on xbox forum.

Format the HDD? You will need the serial of the HDD to format it. Then just recover your Gamertag if it is an XBL Gamertag.

Yea I tried to format the HDD but I entered the serial and it said 'there was a problem formatting the hard drive'
