Megane R26
Today's detail was a returning customer - I detailed this R32 last September, fully correcting it then protecting it through Winter with a layer of Zymol's Vintage Wax (£2180!).
Over the course of the Winter period, the car had picked up a bit of swirling and the protection was all but gone, so the objective for today was to tidy up the swirling and get some more protection down.
The usual wash process was followed initially, with the inclusion of Wonder Wheels used to remove some severe brake dust pitting, most prominent of the front wheels.
After cleaning, claying and drying, I began to assess the paintwork. The car was uniformly covered in a very light swirling, and had picked up a few deeper scratches.
Swirls:
and after polishing with CP8210 Rotary, Dodo Juice Lime Prime and Sonus SFX1 pad:
I finished up with 2 x layers of Zymol's Glasur, a final wipedown with Field Glaze, Pinnacle Onyx on the tyres, Planet Polish WS&S on the wheels, DG Rain Repel on the Windows and Britemax Polish on the exhausts.
The afters:
Very enjoyable detail.
Thanks for looking,
Russ.
