god makes me realise how much i need to get a set of coilovers on my cup. awesome example mate!! do you have much trouble with it being so low on day to day roads?

Nope, the H&R's have been on for about 40,000 now. The only problem I have was hitting a dead badge once over a blind crest.

Used to commute 110 miles a day on them too, they are very good.

Standard suspension, I sh!t it.

110 miles A day! wouldn't want to see your monthly fuel bill! Lovely car!

44mpg normally, 380 from a tank. 2.5/3 tanks a week!

I don't use her that much anymore as I'm 8/9 miles from work now, especially as ride to work aswell. A tank every 2 weeks :D

I still regard your Cup as THE benchmark for other Cups....i wish i had 700 nicker to blow on H&R's....it looks nice and purposeful.

Apart form Yoz's cup it's one of the first I think.

Nearly on 93k now. Still brings a huge smile to my face, and shows up a few n the road :D

Chris, do you have any issues with the harness not being ECE approved? Im going to a bucket in the next few weeks and im after a proper 4 point one, but dont want any hassle with the law/MOT. The only one i can find that fits the bill is a Schroth one that Lotus use in the Exige etc, but its £175 inc vat!!

Car looks ace by the way, best cup on here IMO.

I used to do 110miles a day in mine, 42k in 21months!!!

ECE aproved, you've lost me?! It goes through the MOT fine, partly cos I have a mate in the approved business (if you get my meaning?). They are fine, as long as there's belts per seat then it's OK, plus I've left the original belts in anyway.

Baldy, the seats are fine until about an hour then your bum goes a little numb (depened how skinny/fat you are) but nothing to worry about. The most I drive is 4 hours now, just enough to get to the ring ;)

No rubbing anymore, they did a little when they first went on. I've fettled the camber a bit over the years too. Anymore negative and it's awkward for road use, 1.3 neg for road and track is ok.

Ah the Leg. The best Cup in the club by far.

Looking forward to a few sub 9's next weekend. :D

It needs to be ECE approved to be road legal (something to do with having to be able to undo and do-up with 1 hand). Otherwise you can have issues with the MOT etc, but with a man on the 'inside' i can see you have that covered. Might just get a proper one, and then worry about the MOT in 12 months.
