Not sure I need a rolling road to find out how little power the Beast is putting out with its 3 cylinders, since there's no way the Vee is going on any rollers Paul . After 12 years of ownership, I'm less interested in power output and more about making sure things don't break :tongueout:.
Absolutely a purpose built set ... and done properly! Basically a small (maybe half to two-thirds scale) timber framed house. The roof beams etc. are proper old beams. The walls I'd imagine are mostly ply in the middle, with some brick footings, and then rendered properly inside and out. The...
There was definitely a floor in there originally ... there's no way they could have worked without one since it's just bare earth beneath. Even when dry it'd have been a pain, and now it's just sticky mud! Main joists are still reasonably sound, but one of the braces broke under me as I stood on...
When my eldest son was very little, one of his favourite TV programmes was Tots TV. We owned most episodes on VHS and I had to watch them many many times! If you don't remember Tots TV, it had three main characters … Tilly, who was French, Tom and Tiny … and they lived in a secret cottage in the...
Regularly in Bishop's Waltham, but almost always on whilst out cycling since it's on one of my regular loops. Can't remember last time I was out in the Vee that way.
Cool  ... nice to get spotted for once. Was in various places in the vee yesterday, including it being parked out front of a couple of six form/higher ed colleges where it got lots of looks. Naturally I got spotted just down the road ;).
It will! The front glass on an iMac is held on with magnets, and in order to get it off you need to use a small sucker or similar. That's how it manages its magic no visible screws unibody thing ... the screws are hidden behind the front glass.
I'm sure I've seen a report from St John's fairly recently, but obviously with the building work around it it did get harder. I'll look forward to you getting round the maltings though! And as for Stenigot, if the dishes aren't up there as one of the most recognisable and cool places to...
Must admit it's my least used lens too for similar reasons. What you gain in speed is pointless if the focusing isn't tight on what you need given the shallow DOF. Good job I bought it (even) cheap(er) in Singapore.
So the maltings obviously, and isn't (or wasn't since think it was being converted) Rauceby that way too. Also St John's can't be too far away either. What else?
