    Newbe HELP

The question isn't why should you get one. Its why *shouldn't* you get one. You won't regret it... No one ever does (unless you put it in a ditch) ;)

How much for 55 plate trophy CAT D - quick answer needed !!!!

Well, well... just caught up with this thread... addition details about the car. It was the chance the engine needed replacing that the insurers were worried about. The fact the frame may have been damaged as there were creases above the b pillars didn't help. Total damage was something like, 2...

    Swiss 172, Barcelona

I am not sure if there are many Swiss peeps on here. But I spotted a Silver Mk1 172 with different alloys and 2 massive pipes sticking out the back. It was parked by the Mercat Galvany. Just on the off chance........................

Please don't ask Loony for a constructive comment about the mods... it would be much worse for you... I'd stick with what he has said if I were you... I do like the colour though. :)

    182 or 182 cup???????????

I agree. defintely the way to go. But if you are wanting some track action, go for a Trophy as that is a lot better than a FF on the twisties. One thing: Can anyone explain to me the point of the 182 Cup? To me it seems a waste of time.

    Worth stretching to a trophy?

I have owned both and went from a full fat to a Trophy. The difference was noticable on cornering, especially around roundabouts. But I must admit, I did miss my full fat after about 6 months, for everyday life. The xenons, climate control and 6 CD changer made the difference to me.

    Worth stretching to a trophy?

Ditto the above. If you are actually going to make use of the uprated suspension on a track get a trophy, or indeed if you like the red colour. Otherwise a full fat 182 is such a sweet purchase.

what fuel to use in 182

IMHO you should use Optimax or Ultimate or similar. There are a couple reasons I can see: 1) These fancy fuels have cleaning agents. It is a fact that a clean engine runs better. Over time, if you do not use these fuels, the performance of your engine will drop as the buildup around the...
