Strangest thing ever, driving back from london and had to follow a police convey, 3 escorting cars with armed officers and a big armoured truck in the middle. Not sure what was inside but it must be important to have 12 SO19 officers armed with MP5's looking after it!!

Have a Miltek de-cat fitted to my 182 along with the rest of the system. Its loud, maybe a tad too loud at low speed. Sounds great outside the car - but you sound like a t**t if you have any female passengers in at 30mph and your having to shout above the noise!! lol Adam

Have got a full Miltek including de-cat (dont tell anyone!!). It sounds amazing outside the car, but having the de-cat causes the sound to resonate inside the car at low speeds. if you have the music loud its ok - but if your taking a girl out it sounds like a Group B rally car...not cool. Adam

Afternoon Gents, Just replaced all the pads and disks (front and rear) on my 182 for under £200. Bought the package of ebay (all new gear). Got grooved discs all rounds and EBC Red Stuff pads all round. Fitted them myself and the brakes are now superb - and for that price it is a very good...

just got a Milltek system inc de-cat........perfect at mid/high revs....bit booming at low speeds but fits better than the standard exhaust did

I know, missed out. But earned about £7k last month so cant complain at the extra money!

Thanks for all the information. Thinking about getting a Milltek system instead, PumaSpeed in wakefield said they can sort it out for next week. Bit more expensive £480 fitted, but a better product I think. Adam

would do but it means buying it then finding somewhere to fit it, etc etc live too far away to drive down and have them do it. but saying that the Magnex reviews aren't good, how many hours labour do you think it will take to fit? Adam

Called Nationwide tyres and exhausts who are now stocking Magnex, my exhaust is knackered so thought I would get it changed. Spoke to a guy there who said there is a 3 week wait for Magnex exhausts at the moment as they are making them to order at the factory!!!! Is this true or are they...

Same thing with my 182. get awful noise about 3000rpm and it idles like a JCB. Going back to Renault dealer to sort before I get a cat back system fitted. Adam

Have a rattle/knocking noise on when when it is below 3000rpm and still get a noise even when the engine is off. Must be the centre section cooling down or something but it sounds awful. the 182 is a brillaint car, but the build quality is on par with my old VTR. Adam
