@MattJackson82
Mate, that’s inspiring!
Any chance you could take some more pictures from inside?
Just to have a better point of view for the mounting, and how the motor sits, as it’s upright than the usual 172 epas.
basically any more info, so maybe we could have make some documents for others :)
did you or anyone figured it out?
I still haven’t..
No idea where goes the AFR controller 5V signal to the ecu and how to config it.
Also not for CAN or any other features this ECU have.
according to Gems, who I wrote with smone who tried to support my so crying email, begging for some basic...
Hi mate,
did you got the Wideband to work directly to the ECU?
Also.. I couldn’t figure the right PIN number for using external Wideband controller. Any thoughts how to set it up?
Well,
Got it sorted, she shave her first start after 7 years of build!
You were right, the crank sensor, although the wiring was reversed. Flipped them in the ecu junction, done.
I’m still having that issue with the immobillizer, the UCH doesn’t reserve the key identification. I need to press...
Well, the issue I’m dealing with, the red light flashing rapidly. Which means no key identification.
So I’m moving the key to second position, while pressing the key button.
The red light goes steady, and then off, which means you are good to go.
But I have zero readings from the crank sensor...
Hi, I’ve been there…
There is a connection loom, about 30/40 CM long, going from the accelerator pedal to the main loom. Just behind the brake pedal.
Take it out, clean the s**t out of it, and press the female pins gently with a sharp tool, to make the connection tight again.
So,
Got the chance to check it again today.
Pinout from PDL and throttle is as should be.
No shortage to the ground or to each other.
Resistance on all wires from end to end is 0.2 ohms.
Out of frustration, and mumbled curse Renault in my mind.
I connected the OEM ECU.
And it’s not flapping...
Thanks for your time man!
I’ll I did check resident/ shortage trough the throttle, but not the pedal. I’ll update!
Regarding the throttle body itself, they share the same part number, so I didn’t bothered 😆
The file you attached, i assume it’s the picture below?
