I like the fact that you made it yourself, at least you know it's made correctly. Looks spot on.
Quite often I have bought parts & thought I could have made that better.
When I had tuition at Donington I was told not to lift off through Craners, the one time I did the car was very unsettled & the instructor just said I told you🤷♂️
Thanks, it’s not perfect but for my first attempt at this sort of work it’s not too bad.
Definitely better than a sagging headliner that was like a pair of curtains around the cage.
I used some M5 x 15mm Long Button head bolts with some penny washers & a flanged serrated M5 nut for my side skirts.
I did file a small flat on the washer to avoid hitting the curve of the side skirt.
I think they are an M4 thread.
I needed a longer one as I have a rear polybushed mount & just went to the local nut & bolt supplier. So just bought a few different lengths up to 25mm long as they were pence. Also bought a couple of penny washers.
Can be seen in this photo on the back box hangar.
@Pkuc200 Try here. I have one of his cruise panels etc & it’s works well.
Nice guy to buy from as well. Any questions if you message him he normally replies promptly.
