Hi guys,
Thinking of fitting my c.a.f. to the front grill of my 182 today. Is this likely to make the mix too lean? If so is there any danger to the engine? I can't afford to buy a new car just yet! I know that a re-map is ideal to get the best output but is it a must?
Cheers
Andy
Guys,
I Might seem totally stupid now but could someone please tell me the advantages of fitting coilovers opposed to standard lowering springs? I.E do they have a longer life expectancy? Better handling? Better ride?
Thanks People.....
Andy
they've just started doing subscriptions. I've got the speed camera database but it's about 6 weeks old now iirc. Can send you that too if you like? But you will need to subscribe for the updates....
Maz,
Make a copy of this E-Mail if you wish? This is the original one I sent to Pipercross....
Hi,
I recently purchased a viper induction kit for a Renault Clio 182 but the ducting supplied isn't long enough to reach the grille. This is due to various obstructions i.e. Air Con and Radiator...
Maz,
Keep trying.... My extra length turned up today. If the weather clears up for Sunday I will most certainly be fitting it to my front grill. :rasp:
You tried E-Mailing sales@pipercross.com ?
Andy
If you take the liner out of the passenger side wheel arch you can get at it from there. It just pulls off. You can do it from the top but its pretty awkward.
Andy
Maz,
See above, just send an E-Mail to pipercross explaining the provided one isn't long enough.
They should send an extra length to you free of charge, but there are occasions i've heard of them sending two out.
Worth a try anyway....
Andy
Daze,
Send an E-Mail to Pipercross regarding the length of ducting. I'm looking at doing this route too. But once I realised I didn't have enough tube I mailed them. Mail was sent friday, extra length of tube was despatched today.
Just explain in the E-Mail that the length supplied isn't long...
