Cheers mate I have been slack as I’m only just dropping bit off to powdercoaters 😅 although head is now been skimmed and tested just goto get all the engine bits cleaned 🥵
And as for the beam..
I have done a few and have been successful with every go!!

Little update got All my new valves lapped in nicely so head will now be going for a light skim leak testing and a good clean along with other engine parts..
Also cleaned the block right up with a needle gun treated and gave a lick of hammerd black looks nice tbf
Next I tripped all the back...
Thread bump if helps anyone out but Had this on my kangoo turned out to have a ph1 subframe fitted so track was narrower swapped to ph2 and sorted it as said it was shaft bottoming out on ns 👍🏻
bit more done got pushed out side and fully washed the under side and engine bay with TFR all cleaned up really well next I’ll pull rear beam and tank of for powder coating and treating and under sealing..
few other bits fabricated cup panel and front subframe captives completed it m8...

As said it’s clean I’m gunner put a pair of quarters on it when weather warms up as that would mint it up
So after mechanically restoring my dads flamer I really had the itch for a ph1.. and after bit of time the one piped up that was lurking online with overheating issues and on 200k miles but was was fair he was asking so had to have a look as wasn’t far from me and yer was impressed.
