Welcome back! I certainly remember the name from way back (I bought my 182 in 2004, which I still have, and been on here since just before that!) - and may have even bumped into you at some events (French Car Show at Bruntingthorpe or the old Renault World Series events at Donington around...
Just seen this pop up, and will drop Paul a line to see if there's any news - I know he has had a busy race season, but was going to get something sorted with Jerrick and Edwin at Meister...
So, it's been a while, so it's time for an update. Firstly, I have managed to get my exocet through the IVA and registered, so have had that out and about, covering a couple of hundred miles so far, which has shaken it down nicely and identified a few jobs to add to the list. However, now I also...
Cheers guys - definitely unlucky with the double whammy of crashes - but also lucky that both have been just panel damage - and the insurance company have been pretty good in terms of paying out quickly and fairly both times!
Not a lot to update at this stage - but at the moment the plan is to...
That is a great idea Paul - and knowing the quality of your work and how good the Meisters have been on my Mazda, I would be well up for this (but I do need to fix my 182 first!).

Time to bring this thread back from the dead (and probably should change the title to 14 years...)
So, why the bump, and what do I have to report on the 182? well, it has been running well - with not a lot to report initially, just a service and a straightforward pass for the first MOT, and...
We've had a Milltek on our 182 for the past 3 years (replacing a pro-speed that was on there for a long time!), and it has been very good. We did notice though that there was a cracked weld on the outlet of the centre box when it was MOT'd this time. Thankfully, as the original buyer of the...
Good news - we double-double checked tdc and the cams were still out - and the cam pulleys were also out relative to each other - so with the new belt kit fitted and timing checked half a dozen times we have built it back up and I am happy to report that it runs sweetly (we only ran it briefly...
Thanks for the comments - and double checking (before we remove the belt and risk breaking anything!) I think that we have been using the wrong crank pin (2 supplied in the kit - we had been trying the threaded one, which it seems is wrong) - so will rectify that and check we really are at TDC...
