Just in case anyone is on the lookout for track tyres for the weekend, I've found these 195/50/15 AR-1's for only £99 each, which is way cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. Free shipping too!

Have you got the pulleys mounted on the right way around. I put one of mine on back to front when I first set it up, it's easy to do.
This is how they should look:
Nice win, I'd entered into that draw too!
Looks like it was a DreamCarGiveaways car too at one point, I'm sure one of the previous owners will be around in the Facebook groups.

I knew I recognised that plate from somewhere! My mate used to own it back in 2020, I think it was one of the original press cars.
As it turns out it was an absolute rotbox, which was only discovered when it was sold to @172PH1

I've got the halfords 3T low profile one, its a good bit of kit, ableit a bit hefty. If you know someone with a Halfords trade card, it'll bring the price down to £128. Or if you're up in the Lake District, you can borrow my trade card!
Couldn't find any info for the 1.4's, but the 1.2 16v's make max power at 5500rpm, so you're definitely shifting way too early.
*Just looked on wikipedia, it suggested 1.4 16v's make max power at 6000rpm so no wonder you're finding it a bit slow
This seems like what you need, it's for a Phase1 but I can't imagine it's much different to a 182:

From memory, there's the 4 bolts that go in the bottom of the gearbox, 3 long bolts that go in the top, and two studs with nuts. One stud is on the left side of the gearbox halfway down, and the other runs into the back of the gearbox next to the starter.
I think this is all the bolts here...
