Got the splitter on today. Gluing the ends really does help it to sit flush and really look like an original part, I wonder if renault have realised why nobody is buying the original and the vw dealers are full of clios. Kept getting asked at the dealer if it would fit others cars like corsas...
Cheers, do you think its best to drill a pilot hole for the torx screw on the bottom corners of the bumper connecting to the arch liner, and use the torx screw from either side to fix the splitter, to the bumper and to the arch liner.
Basically I made a mess of my first attempt of the skoda splitter, cut it too short, fitted it uneven. I was wondering what is the best way to fit it properly and not look like a bodged attempt. I was going to take the bumper off but one of the centre bolts isnt comming out that and the nut is...
I got it at 5000miles and used 3l to 8000miles up to 13000 miles I only used 2l. The are known to ease up on the oil after a while. Don't worry about it, even when mine was using oil I had no problems, never let it bother me just made sure I kept on top of it, even the vetecs are known to drink...

Was wondering what the small plate with the ITG maxogen is for when fitting it. I've probably missed something in the instructions, going to do it again properly on monday and take my time, just couldn't wait to fit it even though I didn't really have the time. cheers
Will do. Cheers for the help. Hoping to get everything spot on with the car over the next few weeks, fabia splitter ordered today, pilot sports and r.s badge and hekos on last week.
Just wondering if anyone can recomend, any detailers in the north east just for a paint correction to remove the swirls. Don't trust myself just yet with a machine polisher, will probs just make it worse. I'm in durham by the way.
Hi, new owner from durham here. Just got myself a trophy a few weeks ago. Glad to have the fun put back into driving since buying the clio, it's exactly what a hot hatch should be about.
