I have an old model rs tuner that is locked to someone else's 182. Do the old units still function ok? Up to date maps work on them etc and easy to unlock? May sound a dumb question but it's completely new to me and I can't see much info on their website, and searching on here I can't seem to...

No it was a blue cup. Had a cs sticker in the rear window.

on my 182 i have a cat (full bore exit), no silencer section, miltek there after. it does drone a little bit more with no silencer but its more raspy too :approve: cant comment on std system tho.

Re: Modernising the 182. New Renault Badge [Picture Heavy, Probably a waste of your t its not following the same line as the clio badge, they are at different heights. i think it would look good if they were at the same level.

could be throttle sensor. mine did pretty much what you described and it was the throttle sensor (on the pedal). new throttle pedal unit was about £60 from renault. are you getting warning lights on your dash?
