I have a Clio 182 with both cup packs and good service history. Always been well cared for (mechanically and bodywork wise) and I’ve been the owner of it since 2011.
Due to now living abroad I no longer have the time or somewhere to store the Clio so thinking of putting it up for sale...
I’ve got an issue with mine where the temp needle barely moves above the first or second line and the heaters don’t blow hot air - this is always when the temp outside is about 5 deg or less. Why do you think this is?
I’m also up in Scotland and looking to get the timing belt etc done. Did you get group N timing done at SWR in Stirling (just wondering since you mentioned the car sounds awesome?)?
Also, did you end up getting it mapped afterwards and if so, what map did you get and was it worth it?
cheers.
I found out (with lots of help from the forum members!!) that it was one of the injectors which had stopped working. Ordered up x4 new OEM injectors from Renparts and installed today. Car running great and much smoother idle with them and the proper NGK plugs installed.
Had a dog bone mount...
Update… so I splashed out on a new spark plug and stuck that into cylinder 2 (from drivers side). Made no difference. So I unplugged the injector for the same cylinder and no change. Unplugged the other injectors and a definite change in engine note.
Sooo… now it’s a case of replacing all 4...
