    mk1 valver f7r megane engine swap ?

These sites have a VAST amount of information on the conversions and are more Mk1 biased whereas this site is more Mk2/3 orientated http://www.clio16valver.co.uk/ http://www.williamsclio.co.uk/forum/

    mk1 valver f7r megane engine swap ?

Quickest is to swap the flywheel and heads over and use the clio management. Alternative is to use the full megane engine with standalone engine management which will cost around £800 + mapping. The megane engine uses a larger flywheel and a coilpack instead of a dizzy drive.

What can be done to the DCI engines???

The remap'd derv will give you more MPG too. I'm tempted to do my Golf GT 140, they can make 185 and a s**t load of torque

    choice of cam profile

Plenty of people running VNT's over on RTOC to no ill effect on the turbo.

Won't need to worry about cams with a VNT, you can have full boost at 1500 RPM :race:

    choice of cam profile

http://paultan.org/2006/08/16/how-does-variable-turbine-geometry-work/ You can pick up VNT's for around 1k new, they're used on the new 911 GT3 RS but you won't want something that big. Variable vanes control where the gases flow making the turbo spool faster like a smaller turbo and then flow...

Well, I found out what the bone shaking vibration was....

Exactly, the car is too low and the CV joint is working overtime with the ridiculous angles. Get the car so the wishbones and driveshafts are horizontal and they'll last a lot longer

    choice of cam profile

Bang for buck I'd just keep the money for the turbo kit and get a VNT turbo setup instead of a T28 hybrid
