    ***How much is it worth?***

Yo Guys, I have a 53 plate iceberg silver 172 on 87k miles. Full Service History, belts and dephaser changed last year, MOT due in April. It's currently on O.Z racing superturismo wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres all with good life left in them. It has a cup spoiler, cooksport springs...

    Suspension knock - Ball joints?

I have checked them and can't find any play in them. The noise can only be replicated when the suspension is loaded so I jacked up the suspension and still no play.

    Suspension knock - Ball joints?

Would you recommend getting them changed anyway? They're pretty cheap

I'm glad something good is coming from this noise.

    Suspension knock - Ball joints?

Thanks for the reply bloke. I've jacked it up twice with no luck in finding anything. I'm not sure if it's because a human can't replicate the noise? I did find some lateral movement in the driveshaft but no longitudinal motion. I took a video so people could tell me if it's normal.

    Suspension knock - Ball joints?

Hey guys, I've got a knocking noise from the front of my car. It occurs every time I pull off and brake, it's quite loud. It happens whether fast or slow and also when i'm slowly turning. I've had two garages say that everything feels tight on the suspension but the top mounts are slightly...

    Mot Fail CV Gaiter insecure

It happened to me on my MOT too. They said I had a "servicable track rod" and a loose macpherson strut. Took it to a specialist to check it over and he said none of the sort and that everything was fine. They also quoted me £500+ for a change in the front and rear discs & pads.

    195/50/16s on Cooksports

I have 195/45/16s at the moment. Is there any significant advantage to using 45s over 50s? Also, will I experience any rubbing due to the bigger profile and the lower cooksports?

Adrian Flux Excess Protect and what quote to pick?

I would normally just go with Admiral and that'd be it. But, Adrian flux with the hire car, drive other cars with third party, European days etc. You all seem to be recommending Admiral though. Apologies for double post

Adrian Flux Excess Protect and what quote to pick?

Greenlight couldn't get anywhere near. Well obviously, but it's whether you'd consider it being cheaper to choose to spend 80 extra pounds and get 500 pounds excess back upon the event of a crash. ...?

    Having the 172 wrapped

That is really nice. It's a shame that the price of a decent wrap is half the price of the cars these days.

Adrian Flux Excess Protect and what quote to pick?

Anyone had any experience with the excess protect? Had 2 quotes, I am 22, with a 172 and a few modifications (Cup Spoiler, Cooksports, Induction Kit). 2 years NCBS. Adrian Flux - £669 £500 excess with excess protect(get it back), modifications included, with hire car on accidents that aren't...
