No I was thinking compression test first before I start spending cash on it - maybe it’s now time for new coil pack, leads, plugs and injectors 🤔

So I’ve found some time this afternoon to get in the garage with a Sunday beer.. Bought a compression test kit (eBay special) and did a compression test - first time I’ve done it, so I first did it only removing one spark plug at a time, then did some reading and did it with all plugs out...

I don’t know sorry, they were there when I bought the car - just had a look back to the original advert & it just says bumper ducts 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks @Brigsy @Advikaz I have sneaky suspicion it’s engine rebuild time 😕 What am I looking for compression text wise - 180-190 across all 4 (10-15% variation max?) How low would be acceptable reading wise if they are within the same range? Thanks 👍🏻

If it’s lowered or/and has a bit of negative camber I think this will be the issue mate 👍🏻

Knocking noise fixed!! Shorter drive shaft fixed the issue - I’d narrowed it down to pretty much knowing this would sort it and it has thank god! For anyone having the same issue I bought a 640mm driveshaft on eBay from Lithuania, brand was LOBRO. A bit difficult to find & took some searching...

Sorry I forgot to mention that I’ve tried this, got maybe 7-10mm maybe, better but still didn’t cure it After scouring eBay today I’ve found a 640mm LOBRO one from Lithuania I’ll report back when it’s on to hopefully close this thread out with a resolution 🤞

It’s been a minute / hoping to resurrect this thread - life & work has got in the way of this…. Checked the plunge on the passenger driveshaft and there was very little compared to the drivers side I’ve whipped out the driveshaft today and it measures 650mm in length - I reckon I need a 640mm...
