if aux belt snaps it can get wrapped round the crank pully go in the cambelt area and snap the cambelt well worth getting it done had a renault laguna this happened to luckly it did not snap the cambelt but because parts of the belt got in the cambelt area we had to strip it down to get them out...
try it then i reckon it will do the trick. it is situated above the gearbox and is a butterfly shaped senor all you need is a a 10 ml socket and ratchet no guarntees tho senor itself is between 10 and 30 pound. if you can get it diagnosed at a garage try that first if not go with that sensor.
