Wifey's Clio has a section of rust on the rear sill and will need a patch; probably two inches wide by eight inches long. How much am I looking at to have this welding done (I can do the paint) Can anyone recommend anyone in the Southampton area that can do this at a reasonable cost?

..also, how does the door card come off? I have removed the torx screws from both the bottom edge of the panel and the door opener handle but it refuses to budge. I don't want to go snapping it!

Hi Guys, Wifey's Clio has developed a problem with the drivers side lock. It locks OK but won't unlock - the key just turns (Stiffly). Anyone experienced this problem before, if so, what was it? I'd like to get the bits together to fix it before taking the door apart, if possible. I don't...

There's a non-return mechanism in the pump which ensures the pump is kept primed and there is water in the tubes leading to the jets. When this fails all the water falls back into the tank by gravity.

With all the stuff about Clio bonnet catches releasing at speed, I wondered whether it's worth fitting the Clio with a couple of bonnet pins? If you have done this what type of pins/catches did you use? What did you secure the ends of the pins to, under the bonnet? Are "Aerocatches" any good...

Not sure of the fuel setup on the Clio, but try removing the fuel cap then try starting. I have known other cars exhibit this symptom and it was a blocked breather to the fuel tank; fuel was getting sucked out but a partial vacuum formed in the tank pulling the fuel back again. It's a long shot...

Possibly a wire/connector dislodged? Could be an ECU glitch. Perhaps disconnecting the battery and reconnecting might fix it?
