Ok, maybe I should rephrase the question- What gearbox’s, from which Kangoos (or other models) are compatible with clio 182’s? On my box I’ve a damaged casing - I have loads of new internals and I want to swap everything incl. seals and bearings over.

Folks, is the Kangoo dci box the same that in the 182 - ratios aside? Are the casings identical?

Cheers, the threads on the nut are shot (not on the shaft though) .. obviously not the 1st time it’s been off. Is it available to order?

Hi, Can seem to find an answer to this ... My Clio 182 gearbox, drivers side out pit has a seal and behind the seal is a 50mm nut with a collapsable shoulder and a shim holding in a taper roller bearing. I’ve tried reusing the nut - but keeps working loose. Can anyone tell me the part number...

Right. Sincere thanks to all who contributed and for the solid advise you’ve given. Looks like I will be adding my 197 cams and group N timing tool to that overloaded shelf of surplus parts in my garage.🙄

That’s kinda the bit I don’t understand. ED used to offer a turbo kit for the 197/200 before everyone started going the meglio route. So, why won’t it work in a 172 block?🤷‍♂️

I was going to buy the ED 280 kit , but apparently the piggyback ecu has been discontinued. So ED offered a modded 230 kit modded for lower compression which would yoeld. 260. Really, I’d like 280.
