No idea on actual speeds , my speedo was reading was reading 60mph , LOL, guess being 32 years old and abused it is fair to say it needs some attention..
flat in 5th in the old MX5 going up to Rocket....
If I took a wide line in I could get it nice and straight before standing on the brakes ...
How was this only 1 week ago and I still havent recovered or gone through all the go pro footage.. 230 miles on track ,80 litres of fuel used..just wow.. haha..

I did see one on track sh!t itself going up to Rocket , pulled off as the marshall ran to the track to get it to stop, smoke pluming from the rear and going for the overtake..
great Marshalling , Gutted if that was your bike.
Its when you run on the limit , tyres can and do explode, if you do go off, it's a big one.. track insurance does not cover crowd liability issues, and although it's never planned or wished for, a piece of debris from an accident can do a lot of damage..
I understand their reasons , we worked...
I did have a word at the end of the day with the staff, we maybe allowed next year but only as demo laps as we all behaved well , but sadly no passengers allowed ....
Sadly trackday rules / insurance do not seem to cover the real chance of me entering the sea in a ball of flames...
