Thrush washer, 172? quick help :(

Thrush washer, 172? quick help :(
Hi, I just bought new discs and pads and had ordered bearings from K-Tec online last week. It all came and from what i've seen on other posts there is a thrush washer between the rear disc/bearing and the hub? This would make sense to me cos when I tighten them up all the way its nowhere...- DJay
