So after 7.5 years of ownership and 7,000km added to the old girl - It is overdue a cambelt, so that is one of my winter maintenance activities.
Hopeful to chip away at it over a few weeks and should have the locking tools arriving in a week or so. Have some other items to address like a...
Under Clio III / UPC(EMM) / USM Diag Rev 2.1 (X77,X85)
I had a much more limited menu compared to your Kangoo one unfortunately. The image below I'm not connected to the car but shows what I have under UPC.
These are the my ECU "types" when performing the full scan to find the .xml files that relate to my cars info.

My car has a normal key not a card.
Can I use the CLIP to force this options (i.e. clutch into start or brake to start) or would I have to faff around with installing some kind of...
On the Clio 172's and 182's you could hold down 2 and 5 as you powered on the unit and it would access the master menu.
This does not work on the pictured unit below - Is there a trick to access the menu that allows you to change the region? Or how do you do a hard factory reset of the unit so...
Normally the cars are cleaner on the underside and looked after well.
Service history is normally very limited from Japan aside from the shaken inspections (every two years) kind of like an MOT but more stricter.
I would pull a CarVX report which may give you more info on the car on it's time...
