Right that ear bleeding rattle is no more :approve: Took it to my mates garage, and took about a hour of looking to find the cause, at first we saw that one of the exhaust clamps had gone, replaced it, noise still there. Then we found a heat shield really loose by the engine, took it out, still...

Ah hope not, although knowing my luck recently it probably will be. Another thing i have noticed is that now for example if i go to around 3000 revs and put the clutch down or just put my foot off the accelerator so that the revs decrease, another rattle noise occurs when around 2000 revs, it...

I dunno, its a sport i do know that, even though its a 1.2, but on the other thread i posted some people said it was fitted some people said a previous owner just stuck it on, still need to spray the 'sport' badge same color as the diamond so im gonna put under the renault badge as it looks ten...

It was fitted with that badge lol, already debated this when i first posted pics up, apparently Renault did ship some 1.2 clio's with the sport badge under the clio badge

Im having it looked at on Saturday, my mate works at a garage so hopefully i'll find out what is making the noise it's getting rather aggravating now :mad:

This is my mk2 ph1 clio so far, had it a couple months, only done a few bits and bobs to it atm:- -Subwoofer fitted -Headunit -Sprayed diamond -Sprayed back badges (not shown in pics) -K & N Induction Kit -Blue interior light (Looks awesome at night) -Blue boot light To do list:- -Headlights...

Mines a ph1, is the sensor located by the gearbox?

Will it need replacing or could it just be down to a loose connection or something? How much are they generally if it does need replacing?
