Problem changing to 1st
It won't go into 1st at all if the car is moving, unless you force it really hard. When you're stopped its occassionally just as hard, but often just pretty stiff. Sometimes Is this under the bonnet or somewhere else?- el_chupanegre

Problem changing to 1st
On my mk2 1.2 Grande, I often have trouble getting the car into 1st. It goes if I force it a bit, but I'm bothered that I'd do some damage. I'm sure I read somewhere that this is a common prob (I get 'access denied' when I try to open the FAQ though) Cheers guys- el_chupanegre
