Ok after a bit of searching this is about the most appropriate thread I can find to stick my own problem on to....
I got a 53 plate 172 Cup, with 30400 on the clock and started having this problem last night. Had never happened before, then happened 3 times last night.... under acceleration...
Glad I wasnt the only one that thought so then.
This years show was a big let down in comparison to previous years. Hard to tell whether it was busier than last year or not due to the awful layout.
Its a shame, I'm pretty sure I only got to see about half of the stuff I'd have liked to...
Wont be anything to wild I dont think. Few minor touches here and there.
Want to try and keep the car fairly practical.... but we'll see how long that lasts lol
Doesnt feel quite as quick as the civic, but not far short. Main advantage the Civic had was the LSD which comes as standard in the Intrgra Type R Gearbox.... that and the high revving engine.
The 106 was a quick wee beastie, but the Clio feels a fair bit quicker than that.

I'd actually never noticed that... its goin back to the garage to get a shockie replaced on Saturday anyways - so i'll mention that to them and see if I can get it done under their warranty... Cheers!
The Civic was an imported SirII
Originally had a full Integra Type R engine in it... but the bottom end blew up on that and was replaced with a similar B18 from an Integra SI / Civic VTI-S.
Seriously quick car, but a severe lack of torque. It ran pretty much a 14 second dead 1/4 mile just...
