Come from a helpful german ownership background, so I'm hoping to find that or something similar here. Reason for getting rid of my german car was - I was sick of booting a yacht of an R32 round the back lanes, making lots of noise and not much else and my fuel bills seeing 500 a month crippled me. So decided on a 182 as it has a hell of a lot more flair than anything else of the vintage for the price, nimble, agile, head turning in its own way. Driven with a smile, driven hard, always looked after meticulously, no expense spared under any circumstance with any car.
If I could give young me advice it would be "GET THE CLIO RS182 instead of the R32 no matter if it was a dream car for all these years" Worked out on my bank statement I have spent enough for a house deposit in an affluent area on fuel, insurance, parts, repairs and annual road tax.
Keen detailer and a dab hand with a DA or Rotary, not too bad with a spray gun and some bog either (not because I crash very often-no sarcasm), all because I can be rather meticulous when it comes to things being just right.
