I wouldn’t do a trackday without one these days so would absolutely get the kit. I have a bell sport 5 and every level schroth hans. Package was about £550 in early 2020
This isn't particularly well drafted. It should identify the specific parties in the claim which you are waiving and the circumstances under which a waiver does apply and when it does not i.e. you should only be waiving the right for them to deal with any legal claims under the terms of your...
The new kit Dan. If your using ethernet to link the original modem to the mesh then login to the menu of the modem to switch off the wifi in that. Usually something like 192.168.0.1 for the menu
You create the mesh by connecting the units via ethernet/powerlines the latency and speed is exceptionally good. Not sure about connecting the units wirelessly but I suspect you'd be talking about a haircut on an already huge speed which is rarely used to capacity but I am not an expert. My...
1 will be an injector, I did a video a while back on this.
2 and 3 would likely be a failed ABS sensor or potentially a crackers ABS ring as noted
Check the steering wheel is straight when going stright. Tracking needs to be in order to also not cause ABS/ESP issues
Alex did one at AW motorworks. It was meg bottom end with 1*2 top end to keep the turbo elements more aligned with a standard turbo conversion but with the benefits of a 6 speed LSD.
@colesy god that's good to see, it desperately needed that sorted. Sounds better than ever with all the bits you've done. I do miss it that's for sure but glad you're using it and have big plans for it!
Looking good sir!
I didn't have any issues with temp in the turbo. IIRC, had a 10 row oil cooler which wasn't thermostatically controlled, 75 degree stat (although doesn't make difference once up to temp) and direzza rad. Mine had a megane headgasket which is meant to keep cylinder temperatures...
if do you do this you 100% need a 5mm thickness spacer. Looking back I wouldn't do it again, it's way beyond my tolerance for a safe mod these days.
29mm OD 20mm ID IIRC, 5mm thickness minimum. Ideally you would use a proper machined taper to spread the stress.
