Car was wrote off they paid out £2,100 not bad as paid £1700 Purchased a golf gti as a stock gap it was s**t had to replace the engine turbo suspension etc and now stuck it up for sale I hate it Will get another 172/182 in the spring

Don't even get sat nav as standard specified up this is 42k when an Audi S5 cabrio is what 46k it's a f**king joke Anyone that buys this car deserves to be shot it is not even 4wd either so no better than a mapped GTI really... Biggest joke is as the back seats are pretty small i.e. irrelevant...

GTR seems to much of a hand full Chris is a very very good driver and even he looked terrified R8 on the other hand is a car you could use every day on the track, on a b road or even to pop to Tesco and it would thrill you every time for me one of the all time greats and by far the winner overall

I have seen this done to a none clio sport and think he fitted a lot of meganne stuff into the existing clio block and worked from there... Was running 280bhp and was fully stripped out so must have been stupidly fast!

Indeed Where you the lad stood next to it? Or the person I talked too for 5/10 mins who I saw looking at my car told me how he had owned his 172 cup from new and was not on 100k miles and still not found anything worth replacing it with as it had never let him down :)

I don't think so I saw a fair few people looking at the mint mondial blue one I came down with the midlands PH meet and was with a new 911, catherham, elise etc... hooning down lanes and the little clio kept up just fine most proper petrol heads more than respect these cars I found speaking to...

Oh they was also a silver 172 on an 02 plate (I think) with a cheaky intercooler at the front anyone on here?

However's was the other Monaco Blue 172 what a car best Clio Sport I have ever seen by far unbelievably clean and need to get those wheels on mine now to be honest... Mine was the monaco blue on the end next to an elan couldn't miss is had a huge dent in the side :/ Some lovely cars favourite...

Bump Please Help :) As an update spluttering seems to have cleared up okay lower down does occasionaly and not as bad. However when coldish car revs freely up to 7k (only done this occasionally to test) but once warm after about 5k i.e. when cam kicks in doesnt really went to rev like feels...

Must add doesnt always do the 5k+ thing where it seems to struggle just sometimes Could it be the TDC centre not sure if symptons fit basically splutters below 2k and at 5k+ sometimes seems to struggle when warm. Thinking to change the coilpack at the weekend and do the TDC thing not sure how to...

Hello have the age old problem of a spluttering clio Basically up to around 2.5k revs if put foot down car splutters and misfires a little bit (not good) Also ocassionaly seems to pop slightly when I heel and toe which it never did before so maybe overfueling? Also noticed today once warmed up...

Oh and car has been on jig its fine jusr needed a new steering arm must have bent when went up the kerb
