are you sure you've removed all of it? the bush is bonded to a steel outer which needs pressing out - you should only be left with the alloy arm. other than that, may be the bushes are the wrong size; should be a simple push fit
mine's a daily and has the full set. it doesn't bother me at all, although i think it depends what you're used to. have you run anything with uprated mounts before?
have you got a Haynes manual? it's in there; assume it's the same servo on all models?
hopefully it's a hose rather than the servo itself as, likewise, think it'd be hard work to renew
