Sounds simple but its not... My clios timing belt snapped (28k after changing...) so i found a replacement engine (the engine was a total mess) and fitted that - it has been declared as SORN so cannot move off of the small drive (otherwise i might have moved it before the following...)...

How did you rate the 1.6? Any good on performance?

Right, i had a 98 mk2ph1 Clio 1.2 and the timing belt went (after 20k miles of having it all changed!) I needed a car to put me on so bought a Mk5 fiesta Zetec 1.25. The put me on car is not needed anymore so i'm looking at a newer Clio as i bloody loved that car! Something around 03/04. Got...

Hi there - Thinking of upgrading from a 98 Mk2 1.2 Clio to a 1.6 Dynamique 01/02, just wondering if anybody knows if the boots are the same shape in terms of the floor layout. I have a false floor and would like to move it into the new car. Cheers

I'm 18 and paying the price in insurance. I don't drive like an idiot and haven't even been close to crashing. There are bad and good drivers in both cases, i just think its the individual.

Thers no real need, id just go with DDR2 667, Its at a good price and will work. Personally, if i am honest, i would stick to AMD rather that intel anyway...

I dont fancy the pre-tensioners going off! Could be expensive to replace bits of that, plus i'm skint...
