Yeah there easy to change I'm no mechanic and I done mine myself. Unscrew your engine cover that has 4 bolts. Then at the front between your engine and grill you'll see a metal block which is called the injector cover. It has 2x 10mm bolts you'll need a long socket to get in there put the socket...
Yeah it sounds like the next injector has gone as well yeah I'd swap the injectors round to see if the problem changes. Or just dive straight in a buy all new injectors that way you know there all new and that problem is totally solved
Also luke as your exhaust isn't standard the emission light will always stay on mine always did as well and you'll always have the error code reading of emissions below threshold.
Don't know what yours could be luke but I guess it's a electrical fault as the car is mechanically working fine. Maybe the battery as we've had some very cold weather these last few months. Or it's the ecu. But I'm not very good at the electric side of things sorry I can't be of anymore help.
Buy some new leads they are only £20 from europarts. You should always buy new leads when you buy a new coil pack. I reckon that's what the problem is. Because you have a new coil pack its full of life and its quickly killing the probably already well used leads.
Hi yes it was a faulty injector in the end. After replacing the coil pack and ht leads it was the last thing to change. It ran fine after I changed all that my emissions light was always on as I had a scorpion exhaust. It's strange your light keeps flashing but if its running fine I wouldnt...
Hi everyone I'm trying to change my alternator belt. I had it up on axel stands tried getting the front panel off couldn't see and way of doing it took the two bolt off either side then couldn't see anymore bolts to undo then tried to take headlight off could only find one bolt. Has anyone...
It's about £20 a injector to send away to be cleaned and I can get new ones for £50 each it's worth paying that for brand new ones plus I think with the ktec ones you were talking about my mpg would disappear like no tomorrow especially with petrol prices these days!!!
Oh right well maybe if its not going to make any difference there's not any point in cleaning it is there haha I heard that if you give it a good clean the throttle is a bit more responsive. I just want it to be a bit more pokier ideally I'd like all new injectors I put one new one on last week...
Hi guys I want to clean my throttle body at the weekend on my 182 see if it picks up quicker. I've looked everywhere for a step by step guide but can't find one could anybody give me a quick guide. Thanks guys
I've changed the leads already I don't know what the throttle body is? Still not working properly very lumpy I've changed the spark plugs the coil the ht leads one of the lambda sensors got one injector on order that's the last thing it could be unless its the cat but I doubt it
