Problem sorted. Wrong spark plugs from halfords.

Will I need to get a magnetic pick up tool then I take it? seems like halfords have given me the wrong spark plugs.

I am using a 10mm spark plug socket which fit the new spark plugs fine but won't fit down to the spark plugs currently in the car. Did I get the wrong spark plugs? Halfords said they were the right ones for the car. :S There's no rubber ring sitting on the spark plugs.

I am trying to change spark plugs in my 1.2 16V clio, D4F engine. I have bought replacement plugs and have the right size socket but it won't fit down where the HT leads normally are. Is there any way to remove the sleeve in order to fit the socket?
