Balls. Had my first breakdown today.
Well, it went into full limp. Both this morning and a second time it struggled to start first time. I somewhat ignored it, and after being left a few hours it started with the warning lamp which is a box with a squiggly line then died. I restarted and had...
Yeah I was going to do that today but in the process of trying to pull both wipers and the rear one too, I f**king broke my wiper puller tool 😂. So that’s where they’ll stay!
I think the paint is better than most treatments personally. I put some gtechniq c4 on the rear wiper base and it’s...
Decided to take a break from the screen today and fit the @ScottRallye intake I ordered last week!
The before shot. Obviously I had to make my life difficult as well!
Scott supplies a beautiful bare metal welded piece of art. And I decided, hey I think I want that black. So I scuffed it up...
Took a bit of sanding but managed to remove the mess caused by the lacquer. I’ll stick to sanding and polishing in the future.
I also cleaned all the grime from behind the bumper. You’ll never see it but I’d feel lazy if I didn’t.
Painted the little covers on the wipers too as they were so...
Managed to get an hour on it today.
Ever get the feeling you’re not the first person in there?
Anyways, the grill needs a spruce up as do a few other bits. I like Ctechniq stuff but you can’t beat good old Bumper and trim paint!
I also decided to try a new headlight restoration...
I love groundhog day.
It's been a while, I think I sold my last Clio Sport in 2022? Maybe 2023. Either way I've missed having one around, and the recent sale of my Elise has left me yearning for a fun car.
Just before Christmas I saved my friends Panda 100hp from the scrapyard, did a load of...
Yes they, and quite a few others, were running rings around the little Lotus out there! So it was nice to occasionally overtake a couple things :ROFLMAO:
Lotus did well at its second track day. A 2.5-3hr trip to Manchester to stay at a friends, then we all did the 2 hour hop across to Anglesey in the worst rain I’ve ever driven this car in. It was quite sketchy lol.
First time at Anglesey and heard it’s a bit of a tyre delete kit. However...
Was quite funny I was explaining to my non-Clio nerd friends how rare a Petrol Blue one is, only for another to appear halfway through the day 😂.
I think once you’ve tried the DS1.11 and like it, most pads feel a bit dead on initial bite compared. Some people don’t like the grabby feel of them...
Dont get me wrong its never meant to be my job, its just something I do for fun! But when I have a busy period of work I dont really have time for the fun as much! And when I do stuff, I dont always want the hassle of filming it, would rather enjoy it, if that makes sense! lol
I've been very s**t at YT lately. The amount of time, effort and money to invest is becoming difficult to justify. Especially as the traffic to my videos continue nosediving! lol
Its such a good car, really. Just fancied a change into something bigger with less effort to drive! Didnt need 2...
Yep! Got a lot of use up until a few weeks ago, managed to sneak space in a friends garage for now. MOT this month and then a service! Have at least one track day booked already this year, Hopefully more!
Swapped for a comfort wagon.
