Not really I believe MacBook pro from 2014/15 onwards ram n cpu etc is all soldiered to the board. Only think upgradable is the proprietary ssd. Could possibly update to new os via opencore (unofficial update). But not going make the mac any quicker really sorry :/

Thankfully the Clio hasn't been neglected as much as this thread has. Since then a fair bit of maintenance has been done. It's been up to St Andrew's for a weekend last year or so and enjoyed some winding roads. lucky have some back roads near me that I go love going down with Clio. New OEM...

So ive actually got a bluetooth CD multi changer emulator that the mic runs off of so has no settings that im aware of, i did think it was a cheapo mic so do have a better branded one to attempt to swap over and see if that sorts it out in some way. Will create my own post with the full break...

Trying to achieve something similar, Been in the process of fitting this, with a few adaptations to make it hardwired, and look part of the dash, no wires etc. whilst retaining the orginal headunit, and controls. only issue is the mic that ive wired in up to the cabin light has awful feedback so...
